Oregon’ Governor Brown issues letter expressing “deep concerns” that HR 3144, an anti-spill bill that flies in the face of science-based analysis. NSIA’s Executive Liz Hamilton testified at a House Natural Resources Committee hearing in DC last year against this awful Bill. HR 3144 would require Congressional approval for ANY measures for salmon that would diminish the ability of the Bonneville Power Administration to generate power. The Bill should be called the Columbia River Salmon Extinction Bill. We hope to put a fork in this turkey.
