The NSIA is asking for your help to get Senator Ron Wyden an important message about public lands.
Senator Wyden is in Oregon holding several town hall meetings. We need your help to attend and tell the senator about the importance of continuing the funding of purchasing public lands.
Below you will see the list of Town Hall events Sen. Wyden will be attending, if you live near these events, we urge you to attend and tell him these following points:
- We need his help to continue to work on fully-funding the Land and Water Conservation Fund, which as been used to open up areas like the Nestucca Bay and the Sandy River.
- Ask him to please keep public lands in public hands so we have access to areas we can fish, hunt and hike in.
- Thank him for his balanced approach to the O&C Lands debate, where he is trying to balance the needs of the recreation industry with the timber industry.
